GameVillage Bingo Review – Has It Gone Downhill?

I'm a Thirty-something mother of three dogs who drinks way too much coffee.

Loves the latest tech; even if it costs too much.

Takes a great interest in world politics and the iGaming industry.

I started playing bingo from the age of 18 when I went to my local bingo hall with my aunty.

What do I prefer; land based or online bingo? Online bingo for sure, what with so many different variants to be played and side games thrown in to keep things entertaining.

My favourite bingo site is Tombola, due to the sheer volume of unique games - games you will not find anywhere else.

What’s my biggest cash win? £15,000 smackeroonies, but that’s going back a good few years now!

GameVillage Bingo launched way back in 2007, which makes it a long-established online bingo site.

Initially, the bingo site was running on it’s own software but seven years later the company decided to rebrand and bring their bingo site into the 21st century.

Lots of changes were implemented, including switching to the Cozy Games software.

Game Village Bingo is accessible across all devices and with a range of promotions to suit all budgets.

What’s the GameVillage Bingo review?

Here’s the quick GameVillage bingo review:

It feels like GameVillage bingo has been a bit neglected. There’s been no posts on their blog for 2 years. The winners list photos look old and their site is outdated. They do have mobile apps which is good though. They come from a well established company so we don’t think they’re a scam but we wouldn’t recommend signing up. Also their 4x wagering on the bonus is excessive!

GameVillage Bingo Games

There are eight bingo rooms including the popular “Big Ben” and “Down Town” rooms, along with two exclusive standalone bingo rooms.

Players can choose to play five variants of bingo, including:

  • 90 ball
  • 80 ball
  • 75 ball
  • Speed Ball
  • 50 & 30 ball varieties

Other Games On GameVillage Bingo

Slots, casino games, and jackpots can be enjoyed alongside bingo or on their own.

Just because GameVillage Bingo is branded as a bingo site doesn’t mean you can’t play your favourite online slots and casino games such as:

  • Roulette
  • Blackjack
  • Book of Dead from Play’N Go
  • Vikings Go Berzerk from Yggdrasil
  • Starburst from NetEnt

Hit that jackpot tab and you will find gaming titles that specialise in life-changing payouts, including the infamous Mega Moolah, which is known to reach tens of millions!

GameVillage Bingo Mobile Compatibility

Update: Game Village Bingo now have dedicated Apple and Android apps!

The mobile-compatible bingo site is as easy to navigate as the desktop site, featuring all promotions and the full bingo lobby.

Accessing games is slightly different from usual, thanks to a smaller selection to choose from.

Mobile bingo users can experience all the fun of GameVillage Bingo, including initiating deposits, withdrawals, and accessing support.

Should You Join GameVillage Bingo?

It’s hard for us to recommend GameVillage Bingo.

On one hand they have exclusive bingo rooms, nice mobile apps and regular bingo games running ranging from 1p to £1 per ticket.

But on the other hand we’ve seen a lot of reports that wagering requirements are really hard to meet when it comes to the bonus offer which makes it hard to withdraw. (You have to wager 4x your deposit to withdraw.)

Most of the positive reviews we’ve seen date back to 2012 whereas most of the reviews post 2014 all seem to be negative so it looks as if this site has been neglected a bit and gone down hill.

They haven’t posted on their blog for almost 2 years either.

We’ve also heard reports by a couple of users that withdrawals can be a bit slow and you need to show id before you can withdraw.

The site design is a bit outdated now too. But they do have to mobile app which is a plus.

We also found that their parent company was fined £350,000 by the UK gambling commission for a marketing offense.

We don’t think GameVillage Bingo is a scam but we can’t recommend depositing and playing there right now.
